Founded in 1984, Camlann Medieval Village, a living history project portraying rural England in the year 1376, is dedicated to offering the public powerful personal experiences of history, including multiple learning and performing arts opportunities, built upon research of rural communities in 14th century England, to provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between those historical events and western society today. Leavenworth Summer Theater began as the vision of John and Susan Wagner and Bill Weis in 1994. That opening season was hampered by devastating fires in the Leavenworth area in addition to the normal first year struggles, and the theater suffered severe financial losses. The Wagners decided to give it one more try in the summer of 1995 with a production of The Sound of Music. A great cast, a terrific outdoor location, and the natural compatibility of the show with Leavenworth's Bavarian theme created a sensationally successful production. Today, Leavenworth Summer Theater is the largest theater between Seattle and Spokane, with more than 20,000 people expected for this year's productions. Auditions information is on website.

Established in 1967, The Carrousel Players is Idaho's oldest performing arts organization, becoming a non-profit corporation in 1984. CST specializes in production of full-scale Broadway musicals during a 12-week, 36-performance season during the months of June, July and August.
