Email

Email can be effective, but it is also easily deleted. Often people will delete something unless they recognize the name of the person who is sending it. Email is usually more effective when it is more personal.

Many organizations send out newsletter via email.. If you are a member of an organization, try to get your event listed on the email list.

If you want people to come to an event or market a business or product, send out something simple and short. To email a press release intended for a journalist when you are trying to reach consumers, possible attendees, or friends is rather ineffective.

Remember to use blind carbon copy when entering your contacts' email addresses.

Publicity managers can also use email marketing services apps to create and distribute email. Here are a few that offer free plans.
