Founded in 1986, Artist Trust helps Washington State artists of all disciplines thrive. Since then, Artist Trust has invested over $10 million in Washington State artists through funding, trainings, and resources and has provided programs that meet the changing needs of artists. Artist Trust helps artists establish and maintain careers through direct support, connections, and advocacy.

  • Support – AT directly supports artists with: grants that invest in artists at crucial points in their careers; classes and webinars teach the business of being an artist, from financial management to marketing and social media; and online resources provide information specifically for artists about employment, healthcare, and housing, among other vital needs.
  • Connect – AT helps artists connect with other artists, gatekeepers, and supporters through events and networking opportunities, and give them the tools to create community and build audience in the Northwest and beyond.
  • Advocate –AT listens to what artists need and advocate with them locally and nationally. An annual artist survey and town halls help AT discover and make visible current issues impacting the livelihoods of working artists across Washington State.

Arts Northwest is a unique partnership organization that has been serving presenters and artists in WA, OR, ID and beyond for more than years. Arts Northwest features an annual booking conference originally supported by the Idaho, Washington, and Oregon Arts Commissions. As a result, the conference started rotating between the three states to a variety of cities.

Arts NW serves a growing membership of more than 500 organizations and individuals from 10 of the western states, and increasing participation by artists and agents from most of the nation and several countries. Arts NW services range from technical support and publications, mentoring and professional development programs and of course, the annual convening of the Arts Northwest Booking Conference.

The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS) manages the city's public art program, cultural partnerships grant programs, LANGSTON (formerly the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute), and The Creative Advantage initiative. Its work fosters a city driven by creativity that provides the opportunity for everyone to engage in diverse arts and cultural experiences. In alignment with the City's Race and Social Justice Initiative, it works to eliminate institutional racism in its programs, policies and practices.

Washington State Arts Alliance, the statewide arts advocacy organization, works to promote public funding, legislation, and policy favorable to the arts. Washington State Arts Alliance Foundation works to increase knowledge, understanding, appreciation and practice of the arts through communication and education. A dedicated board runs the Arts Alliance and Foundation, and works with arts advocates around the state.

The Oregon Cultural Trust champions and invests in the statewide cultural exchange and creative expression that make Oregon uniquely Oregon. OCT awards grants to individual artists and organizations and offers webinars on how to write an effective grant.

The Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) receives funding from a variety of public and private partners to serve artists, arts organizations, schools and residents throughout Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties.

RACC awards grants to individual artists and organizations; manages a grant search engine for regional, national and international grants; manages a call-board for jobs and auditions; hosts an online resource directory of research publications, businesses and organizations that support the arts, available workspace and housing, and upcoming workshops and lectures; and lobbies on behalf of the arts in the State of Oregon and Washington D.C.
