Founded in 2007, Fremont Abbey is a 104 year old brick building at 43rd & Fremont Avenue North in Seattle. The 1914 structure was reopened after undergoing major seismic, design, environment & visual improvements. Now a beautiful & welcoming multi-use venue with a warm vintage style, the Abbey welcomes events of many varieties including weddings, receptions, galas, fundraisers, parties, meetings, concerts and more.

Fremont Abbey offers significant discounts for 501c3 non-profit organizations, neighborhood groups, and artists. Depending on the date, it can also sometimes offer even further discounts for educational arts related events that support youth or low income families.

As part of its nonprofit mission, FA partners with you or your organization to present the event and are often able to subsidize/sponsor the cost by even 50% or more. FA also offers 4 or more very low cost rentals per year to small startup nonprofits who are well organized and fit its mission.

To keep things sustainable, rates vary depending on the month, day of week, number of people attending, public or private event, food & drinks, event complexity, staffing, AV & other equipment uses, and even how far out the event is scheduled. For example, if a date is available 30-60 days out, FA can often book that at a lower cost for your group.

Seattle’s Paramount Theatre is the first theatre in the country to offer a fully automated convertible floor system. This state of the art convertible floor system transforms the beautiful auditorium space into a magnificent ballroom.

In the last twenty years, The Moore Theatre has defined itself as a venue for both local community events, such as lectures, beauty pageants, and local dance or musical groups, and as a home for more “alternative” touring musicians and theatre.

Most events at The Neptune are general admission, with standing room only on the main floor (typically 21+ in the bar area, all ages towards the stage) and all ages general admission seating in the balcony, unless otherwise noted. For comedy, film, and other seated engagements we add freestanding chairs to the general admission floor area.

chapelspace.blogspot.com/2006/12/general-information.html

Chapel is 59′ x 60′ — 150 capacity

The chapel is on the fourth floor of the Good Shepherd Center, and is accessible by elevator or stairs; a ramp next to the main entrance of the building provides wheelchair access. The room is approximately 59’ x 60’ and is divided by four large columns. Maximum audience capacity is 150 (padded chairs that stack on rolling carts). We have a circa-1920s Knabe 9-foot concert grand piano.

The Good Shepherd Center is a Seattle City Parks property with two parking lots. Depending on other activities, the parking lots may get crowded.

The Chapel Performance Space is a dedicated performing arts venue located in the Good Shepherd Center, owned and operated by Historic Seattle, a private non-profit development agency. The Chapel may be rented on a per-event basis for concerts, dance, theater, literary readings, and other performing arts events or rehearsals.

Dates in the Chapel are available on a first come, first served basis. Plan on booking your rental at least several months ahead of time. Friday and Saturday nights are typically booked out 6-12 months in advance.

Touring artists from out of town must have a Seattle-based presenter (individual, organization, or local artist sharing the bill) who can sign the rental contract and be responsible for upholding the terms, hiring crew, doing PR, running the show, etc.

The Chapel is not available to rent on weekdays before 5:00 PM, on Sundays, or on most major holidays. Due to high demand, individual artists or organizations can book events no more than one Friday or Saturday per quarter, or three weeknights per month. Sorry, but we are not able to accommodate regular weekly or monthly rentals, or more than two nights in a row.

Reduced rental rates for nonprofit organizations.
