About The Actor’s Handbook

From 1987 until 1999, The Actor’s Handbook was the resource where actors found out how, when and where to audition.  Nowadays, Theatre Puget Sound (TPS) and the internet is a much more efficient resource for audition information.

Although we still list general audition information,  The Actor’s Handbook now concentrates on resources not available to the actor elsewhere. The priority of the Handbook is now on listing and vetting teachers of actors and aspiring actors.  Producer’s and would-be producers of theatre will also be pleased to find The Theatre Production Guide. We have added a Film Production Guide as well.

In order to stay current, we need to hear from the community.  Please see the Contact Us section.

Best,

Ellen Taft
